I was going to make a short film about my neighbors Said and Wladi reconstructing an old ruin in a little corner of southern Catalunya. I even wrote a short script. Before we had a chance to rehearse, Wladi invited me to a paella. Said gave out haircuts with his electric razor. Wladi, who is from Valencia played the Ukalaili and sang a song in Russian. Before I was able to explain to them their roles, I noticed that Aki had run away. So instead I filmed going from neighbor to neighbor looking for Aki.
