Mangos

66 minutes, 2026

A restless motel receptionist sets off for Mexico leading him to Piedras Blancas - a remote village turned island after relentless rains. As the land disappears, its people adapt - Juli invents fateful phone games, Igor chases gold, Maria becomes a long-lost love, and scavengers build floating homes from debris. The past forces its way into the present and reality here blurs like the heat haze over the mango fields.

Mangos is a fever-dream of heartbreak, a questionable take on tropical paradise and a furious meditation over the subtle weight of entrapment.
